Lyana Klara is a photographer based in London with a BA in photography from the University of Westminster. She has a background in painting and drawing, which continues to inspire her photographic work.
Her work often explores the offbeat and surreal, shaped by a childlike sense of wonder and curiosity. Drawing on theatrical setups, expressive lighting, and cinematic framing, she creates images that aim to feel like fragments of a dream.
After focusing on personal and self-initiated projects, she’s now beginning to take on commissioned and commercial work, bringing the same visual language to both.
